...I am very proud of my daddy's name My grandparents, aunts, uncle, parents, brother, sister and me.

St. Michael Cemetery
For as long as I have known of such things, I knew St. Michael Cemetery was where my daddy's people were buried. I remember going to the church as a child when we were down there on Sundays and going to the "family reunion" in September every year that we could til my daddy died. I went to both my grandparents funerals there and I remember visting there as an adult and feeling pride in seeing all the headstones and being comforted by how nice my grandparents plot looked and I feel like I belong there when it is my time. I have found a little history about St. Michael Church and a survey of the cemetery done there in 1999 by Carol and Adline Hulsey.
